In June 2022, SÜLZLE KLEIN received the seal of approval confirming the requirements for systematic and effective occupational health and safety for the “Sicher mit System” seal of approval in accordance with the industry-specific implementation of the NLF / ILO-OSH 2001. In addition, the occupational health and safety management system meets the requirements of DIN ISO 45001:2018 (formerly known as OHSAS).

For the SÜLZLE KLEIN team, this is an important award of which the employees are rightly very proud. At the same time, it is an obligation to continue to meet the high requirements and to continuously develop beyond them. Only in this way can the mission to achieve the vision of “0 accidents” be fulfilled.

The award was preceded by long-term and continuous work on the safety organisation. This began with the introduction of the SAM software in 2020 in order to be able to map all instructions in a legally compliant manner. Almost more importantly, the introduction of SAM also involved all employees in the topic of occupational safety. Monthly safety walks and an idea management system (the “think tank”, in reference to the origins of the Sülzle Group) have been introduced, countless training courses have been completed and exchanges of experience have been initiated. As a result, the topic of occupational safety has a firm place in SÜLZLE KLEIN’s everyday business. The BGHM supports this process in many ways, in particular through comprehensive training of all managers.

Within the SÜLZLE Group, SÜLZLE KLEIN is another company that has received the BG “Sicher mit System” (Safe with a System) certification and is an expression of the high importance of occupational safety for every employee in the Group.
