Renewal of the mechanical sludge thickening system and new construction of the sludge dewatering system
The Lachendorf wastewater treatment plant belongs to the Matheide wastewater association and treats the entire wastewater of 18,000 population equivalents. As part of the climate protection sub-concept “Climate-friendly wastewater treatment”, the sludge thickening system was replaced by a solidXdrain belt thickener and extended by an energy-efficient solidXpress belt filter press.
The new equipment was installed centrally and compactly in an existing room. For the renewal of the mechanical sludge thickening system, a mobile belt thickener was provided to ensure the operation of the wastewater treatment plant.
