New construction of a 2-strand sewage sludge drying plant
As a complete supplier, Sülzle Klein provided the overall solution for energy-efficient sludge dewatering and drying at the Kaunas wastewater treatment plant in Lithuania.
From the acceptance of the stabilized sewage sludge to the safe dry material storage, the energy-efficient belt dryers of the type Pro-Dry® X 2-4 LT process approx. 30,000 t of wet sludge per year.
Low-temperature waste heat from the CHP units is used as the heat source. The efficient drying process minimizes the exhaust air volumes and cleans them far below the required emission limits.
